Join us for an ALL OUT RALLY outside the South entrance of the hospital on March 20th from 1130-1230. We will be rallying on the sidewalk down towards medical Drive. This is to support PATIENT RATIOS. Our power is in our numbers!
With arbitration in early April for our Provincial contract, hospital CEOs need to hear from you and your co-workers that you want registered nurse-to-patient ratios. Get ready to show up, be loud, and show your power in numbers.
Hospital CEOs are intentionally understaffing our public hospitals and working with the Ford Conservatives to replace their services with private clinics. This is causing service closures, delays in care for patients, overwhelming workloads for nurses and health-care professionals and unsafe staffing conditions. You know the solution is nursing ratios.
The Ontario Hospital Association – which represents our hospital CEOs – put out a statement against nursing ratios. They did this because they felt threatened – and they want you and your co-workers to doubt your demand and stop organizing. That means that now, more than ever, is time to ramp up the pressure. Now is the time to show them that you’re going to keep organizing and fighting for your demand with our all-out rallies.
